What are 'Specials'?
First, 'Specials' are fully-functioning, guaranteed Precision Matters products. One might be a veteran of a dyno test, which we can no longer sell as new. One might be a part from an earlier production run differing visually from the newer parts. Or, perhaps a display unit which has gotten a scratch or two. Regardless, they will be priced lower than the regular units and will far better serve their purpose on someone's 356 rather than taking up space here.

The offerings will be intermittent, and posted until they sell or until we choose not to list them any longer. Call with a credit card; first come, first served, prices plus shipping and taxes. To repeat, they come with full guarantee for function but are sold VISUALLY 'AS-IS'.

Full Flow Adapter Kit
One only, for US-spec heater systems. This is an un-used part, remaining from an earlier production run. There are visual differences compared to the newer ones. Complete kit.

Full Flow Adapter Kit, Used
One only, for US-spec heater systems. This is also from the earlier production run (see above) and has ~4,000 miles on it on my personal C coupe. Visible, but not measureable wear. It was replaced with one of the newer units both to confirm the function of the new-run parts and to keep the car up to date. Complete kit.

36mm NDIX Tuned Kit, New
One kit only. This is a complete, bolt-on kit, Zn Chromate plated hardware, exactly as shown on our Product listings. It is here because the low-cost source for the cores is no longer a source and this is the last one available at this price. These were tuned on a recent dyno run, and are visually new parts.

32NDIX Rebuilt Carbs, Used
One set only. These are Precision Matters "Off-the-Shelf" rebuilt 32NDIX rebuilt carbs. They were returned under our 'no questions asked' policy; we should have 'asked'. They are perfectly functional, but they were installed and run for several miles. They no longer qualify as "New" without a complete disassembly, cleaning and reassembly. So rather than lose another hundred bucks, we'll offer them at a $75.00 discount.

32NDIX Rebuilt Carbs, Iridited
One set only. These are furnished as Precision Matters "Off-the-Shelf" rebuilt 32NDIX rebuilt carbs. They are supplied with very good float bowl and top castings, dated 9-59 and 10-59. But the good condition is a result of the irriditing and they have the yellowish cast. Other than that, they are in both appearance and function (and guarantee) the same as our other carbs. Stripping the irridite is a pain, so these are offered at $50 off the standard price.
